How to Make Alaska Flight Change Online?
Making slight changes to a trip can be complicated; hurdles tend to pop up when you're not expecting them. Whether it is postponing an important meet or extending the visiting days to grandma's, you have the flexibility to change your travel plans with the Alaska reservations portal. If you are having any changes in your Alaska flight travel plans, you should know some things beforehand:
- No flight change fees will apply, but the airfare difference may be charged for newly booked flights.
- Per no-show policy, you must change or cancel your flight reservation before your flight departs to receive future travel credit.
- Same-day confirmed changes in flight can be made during the check-in window. A $25-50 fee will apply, but no difference in airfare will be charged.
- Saver fares cannot be changed.
- Saver fares purchased on or after May 1, 2021, may only be canceled under Alaska's 24-hour cancellation policy.
- Saver fares purchased through April 30, 2021, maybe canceled under Alaska's peace of mind waiver for future travel credit.
You are eligible to make online changes if:
- Your ticket was purchased directly through Alaska's official website.
- No one in your group has checked in for any flights on this booking.
- Your booking doesn't include Saver fares or government fares.
- Your booking includes no more than 7 guests and/or isn't part of a larger group booking.
- Your booking contains no more than 8 flight segments.
- Your booking is not a Mileage Plan award ticket for travel on Cathay Pacific or LATAM.
- Your booking doesn't include certain special requests, such as pet accommodations.

- Log in to your account and find the flight you want to change in the "Upcoming Trips" section of your account. Select the "Change Reservation" option.
- Select the number of passengers you'd like to make changes for.
- Choose "Change this trip."
- Click the "Change Flight" option under the "Departing Flights" section.
- Select the fare type you'd like to change from the dropdown menu.
- Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the webpage.
- Pay the fare difference after choosing a new flight or due credit will be displayed to the right.
- Continue to checkout and finalize your change(s).
